The Edition Barcelona is situated in Ciutat Vella, which is the place to be, only 7 minutes' walk from El Born. There is the 19th - century formal Ciutadella Park about a 25-minute walk away, and Barcelona Nord bus station a walk from the property.

For those travelling from afar, Barcelona-El Prat airport is 23 minutes' drive away.

    Rooftop atmosphere is inviting and relaxing.

    I was disappointed with the service here. Upon ordering room service, I was told to use the coffee machine myself, frustrating given the hotel's five-star rating. To make matters worse, there was no water in the room to even brew the coffee. Such poor room service is unacceptable and left a sour taste.

    The dining scene is on point-check out N.A. Neapolitan Authentic Pizza for a slice of heaven just around the corner! Plus, the lobby bar is perfect for sipping cocktails after a day of wandering. The staff were all helpful, cute, and friendly.

    Gotta say, I expected a little more from room service. Asking to make my own coffee was a buzzkill, especially when there was no water in the room.

    For the price we paid, we got great value with a beautifully furnished room and great facilities. The location was perfect, not too crowded but still close to major attractions.

    One small improvement that could be made is adding more variety to the morning meal.
